Gabriele Zeller, born in 1968, graduated from a vocational school of fashion in Linz (with the general qualification for university entrance) in 1987. Afterwards she worked as a consultant in different well-known Viennese companies.
In 1989, she found her calling in the furnishing advisory department at Laura Ashley GmbH. The knowledge she had gained at the vocational school of fashion and the affection for her work with colours, design and textiles finally came together. Back then, it was the heyday of the British country house style in Austria.
A new period of life began when her daughter Veronika was born in 1993. Two years later, the birth of her son Nikolaus followed, so that she dedicated her efforts to the adolescence of her children.
Her re-entry into her career took place in 1997 with the help of an in-service training for sales advisor and interior designer. (Einrichtungsberaterin und Einrichtungsplanerin)
Her next place of employment was to be the showroom of Backhausen interior textiles on Kärntnerstrasse in Vienna, hosting many well-known manufacturers and agencies from all over the world. Three years later, a change of job took place: she switched to “Mariahilfer Tapetenhaus“ including the biggest KA international Shop in Austria. KA, a franchise system from Spain motivated her to learn the Spanisch language.
The next challenge came three years later: she became the assistant at Randos Relocation and Office Service assigned by international affiliated groups. But her desire for an own firm grew. She realized her dream after she had successfully completed the examination for the master crafts(wo)man's diploma for upholsterer and decorator.
Since May 2007 her own firm exists: LISGÈS Raum für Ideen- Ideen für den Raum…©
